The SHSU campus preview day, Saturdays@SAM is an all day program free to prospective student, families, and friends. Saturdays@SAM attendants can visit with faculty and speak with representatives in Undergraduate Admissions, Financial Aid, and Residence Life (just to name a few). The event will take place at the Johnson Coliseum, so please print and use our driving directions.
You and your guests will have the opportunity to see the friendly atmosphere that awaits you as a student at Sam Houston State. You will get an in-depth look at the campus and at the program(s) in which you are interested. Please check out our event schedule to learn more about Saturdays@SAM events.
We understand that choosing a college is an important decision and you probably have several questions. Saturdays@SAM is designed to supply answers to all of your questions and provide you with a sample of what Sam Houston has to offer.
You can register online or print out and mail in our registration form. Visitors needing special accommodations please email visitsam@shsu.edu.
What to wear and bring:
- casual clothing and comfortable shoes
- umbrella (just in case)
- money for refreshments and other SHSU memorabilia available for purchase
